"We" Afghan Women are human!
(Archive June 27th, 2023)
I was brought up in the north of Afghanistan. People, a high number of male and female study in basic education and pursued higher education like universities and colleges. However, after the collapse of Afghan Republic, everything turned into darkness. Taliban totally banned girl's/women's education over 12 years old. Taliban keep creating hurdles in scientific education and they force people to focus on their traditional Islamic schooling they interpreted. We call them 'madrassahs.'"

In my blog, I really would like to convey their voice. For five decades, Afghanistan has been exposed to war. There may have been times when there was some kind of stability during the U.S. presence in Afghanistan. However, after the U.S. troops left Afghanistan, the Taliban quickly took over the country, and there have been severe human rights violations, including executions, torture, and deprivation of education for women. In this blog, I would like to share stories that Anqa told me about her goal in her life and also what she wants to do for her country, Afghanistan, and Afghan women.
