The Stillness and the Record
Reflections on Ido, survival, and the quiet of a house in waiting.
Today, I released a new episode of Dispatch Record with Author Ido Singer . It is a significant interview about his 2027 book and the ‘DNA of memory.’ But as many of you know from my personal updates, I am recording this from a very different headspace today.
As I sat with Ido’s words about the ‘Silent Details’ of trauma, I was looking at my own dog, navigating her first days with a heart failure diagnosis, having raised her since she was born. There is a specific kind of stillness required when life feels fragile.
In this week’s Journal entry, I’m sharing:
The raw intersection of my work on trauma and my personal journey with grief.
Why Ido’s concept of ‘Searching for Life’ feels like the only compass I have right now.
A deeper look into the ‘American Filter’ and how we process tragedy from a distance.

Our podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and many other platforms, but the heart of my processing is here with you at the Journal.
To my Founding Members: Thank you for allowing me the space to be human while I record these histories. Your support is the quiet strength behind this stillness.
