Takaichi's Policy Making
Joint custody, DV laws, ...
When Prime Minister Takaichi was elected, the New York Times quoted her as the “heavy metal drummer.” I have been watching the news in general, not just in Japan, about how Japanese politics is described. This description of “Prime Minister Takaichi practicing politics like a heavy metal drummer” was, in my opinion, unnecessary. To the Japanese, it was not even about the conservatism. Japan desperately needed to elect a Prime Minister who was able to build a good relationship with the United States.
Urgently.
The New York Times is one of the oldest media in the U.S. However, the New York Times describes the very layer of the politicians. It may have been true, or it may not have been true at all. I’m not resorting to targeting only the New York Times, but many of the foreign media, the liberal Western media claimed that Takaichi would become a hard-core politician who would not honor women’s rights or minority rights. The descriptions that they made against Prime Minister Takaichi were very symbolic. They target conservative women and also label them as women who don’t care about women.
I actually question this. I was looking at some of the vile Antisemite’s profiles and realized how ignorant they are when it comes to their own country and what is happening around them. I’m not talking about Israel today, but about Japan. This is relevant to Antisemitism in Japan, though.
In my opinion, before talking about “minorities being the right people” as the left claims, it’s important to understand the basic human rights in the first place before discussing the Al Jazeera propaganda, and so I’m writing this.
In my opinion, joint custody is something that Japan must have in the legal system. This law is to take effect by 2026. In my opinion, there are too many children and women whose spouses don’t pay for the child support. Women suffer from making ends meet, and at the same time, children have lost the opportunity to be in better living conditions in many ways after their parents are divorced.
