Is Iran Truly out of Funds? (Archive May 12th, 2024)
The current regime of Iran does not seem to have strong integrated power inside Iran, after witnessing the Iranian Revolution, advocating for Masha Amini, who was brutally murdered by the morality police on September 16th, 2022. Hundreds of protestors were killed and detained. Is the world truly aware of what the Iranian people are going through? I am not saying that I am fully aware. The two female journalists, Niloufar Hamedi and Elaheh Mohammadi, were both arrested back in 2022 and were offered bail in January this year.
It seems to me that the Islamic Republic of Iran is threatening with its voice to destroy the world with its force. However, in reality, I do not believe that they have the full capacity to destroy the world order even through a diplomatic approach.
On October 7th, though, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, PFLP, and other radical Islamic groups that the Islamic Republic leads committed a brutal attack against innocent Israeli civilians. Despite the horrible and brutal massacre on October 7th, 2023, the Biden administration unfroze 6 billion dollars in assets for the Islamic Republic of Iran. I saw comments of outrage on social media from Iranians in exile over this Biden administration policy.
