D.C. Terror Attack against innocent Israeli Embassy Staffs
-Too shocked to have words
After I heard the terror attack in Washington D.C, I was too shocked, and my mind went blank for a few hours. I couldn’t concentrate, and I couldn’t think clearly of anything. A few hours went by.
Today, when I was checking the news online, what caught my eye was the terrorist attack against Israeli Embassy staff in D.C, resulting in two deaths. Probably, it's more shocking than my actual reaction.
Instantly, though, I wanted to know the names of the two victims. Israeli Embassy staff are very kind and cordial people. How come such a tragic incident happened to the embassy staff? Why? The convict was screaming, “Free Palestine.”
What always shocks me about all these Antisemite terror attacks? There are friends or family members of the victims who text me about the victim or call me. It is very realistic to me also because I’m a nonfiction writer and also document people.
Today, the male victim’s friend wrote to me. How do you all feel? Maybe, I have to say this. I would rather see the reality than the stories of October 7th. The stories? I would search for the truth all the time. All the time. This is, as a nonfiction author, an important process for me.
Here is a cynical reality that I wrote on a public blog, which is run by a newspaper online. A Ukrainian online friend also wrote to me about the origin of “Free Palestine.” I discussed this issue with him for quite a while, and also on Europe and Antisemitism. He was also talking about the Antisemite “Yakuza in Japan,” as he calls. It is true. Antisemitism is painted with communism, and totally against liberalism under democracy.
