1. The “Vietnam” and “Iraq” Fallacy

It is fundamentally incorrect—and strategically illiterate—to compare the current dismantling of the IRGC to the Vietnam or Iraq wars. Those who rely on these tired tropes demonstrate a complete lack of understanding regarding modern warfare. We are witnessing a surgical, high-tech neutralization of a theological regime, not a decade-long “quagmire.” To suggest otherwise is a delusion the media uses to push a specific ideological narrative.

2. Dr. Zamir on the Japanese Spirit & Historical

Truth As a true lover of Japanese culture, Dr. Zamir expressed his strong belief in the future and resilience of the Japanese people. He reminded us of a crucial historical fact often ignored by modern media: Pre-war Japanese society was deeply sensitive to the threat of Antisemitism. He looks to this legacy of moral awareness as a foundation for Japan’s modern role. He holds exceptionally high expectations for Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, viewing her as the leader capable of securing a truly Free and Open Indo-Pacific.

3. Pattern-Matching the Dictator

While the media builds “documentaries” out of thin air, I did the work. I tracked Supreme Leader Khamenei’s accounts to see how often he targeted “Zionism” and PM Netanyahu by name. There is a clear pattern and a calculated logic—an “algorithm of hate” that Dr. Zamir and I discussed. The strategy employed by the Trump administration to counter this was correct; the media’s claim that Israel is the “secret hand” behind the conflict is not just wrong—it is defamatory.

4. The 10,000 Souls Forgotten

The Bottom Line: Japan has a vital role to play, but it cannot do so while clinging to “Bat Diplomacy.” Dr. Zamir believes in a resilient Japan that leads with strength. If Japan does not take its own defense seriously, the bond with the U.S. will inevitably fray.

ICEJ is somehow politicized by the Japanese TV stations. I’m actually surprised at what they say about ICEJ, because the TV stations are indeed politicizing any affairs related to politics. ICEJ is a goodwill Christian organization that has a mission to spread the goodness of Christians and how we, the Christians, consider the state of Israel.

My simple question is,

“Why is Christianity politicized if Christians advocate for Israel?

Here is another simple question.

Why do the media or other people who discuss the Jewish people tend to differentiate the Jewish people and the Israelis, or Zionists? What is the whole point of teaching all these discriminatory values to people? It sounds as if it were “wrong” to advocate for Israel. On the other hand, the media preach to people that there is no such thing as “right” or “wrong” in advocating for people for a cause. I’m talking about “the Palestinians” in the Al Jazeera narrative.

I do understand the safety of journalists in some countries. I don’t intend to harm them. However, it’s morally corrupt not to inform about what the Islamic Republic is about. It’s obviously not only because Iran is somewhere far away and Israel is overly conscious of itself.

Really?

There are a lot of Japanese in the Islamic Republic of Iran. I understand people may not be political. However, what about the ongoing protests that broke out as a result of the sanctions? I do understand that the factors could be sanctions, but at the same time, the 12-Day War has obviously weakened the Khamenei regime.

Some academics seem to want to shut their ears, calling out the information that Mossad holds “propaganda.” On what basis do they claim this on TV? Or, is the information provided by the media all “propaganda to them?”

Back in the 60s, the Japanese faculty, I have to say, some, and I can actually name some, supported the radical left agenda, and protested against the U.S.-Japan Alliance. If these radical leftists support the liberalism of the people, where are they marching now for the Iranians who are brutally killed on the streets by the IRGC?

When the Druze were facing the siege by the cruel Al-Julani forces, where were they? What was ICC doing? They love to talk about Russia. I understand the human rights violations happening in Ukraine. However, the next topic the chief Judge of ICC discusses is Gaza.

I’m beyond belief what ICC has been focusing on. It’s obviously a political organization in the UN body. They are well aware of the severe human rights violations in Iran and Syria, against the Druze and the Kurds. Where are they? Not as an individual, there is no words of condolences toward the Kurds? What about the Iranians?

The Iranian expats aren’t free at all. They’re always targeted for assassinations, or they’re kidnapped to bring them back to Iran, and will face executions. Such culture isn’t the Iranian culture. I think it’s time we stopped blindly following the theological element that Khamenei has tried to expand since 1979.

As we do, the Iranian people deserve freedom and democracy. We can’t overlook the fact that over 40,000 innocent Iranians were brutally murdered by the regime, and over 330,000 people were injured.

At the same time, why can we stay silent on the brutal murder of Kurds by the President of Syria? Who made him the President? That’s another problem.

Al Julani is a terrorist.

Al Julani has never tried to govern Syria.

When his army faces the Druze, they ask, “Who are you?”

The Druze answered, “I’m Syrian.”

"What do you mean by Syrian? Answer?”

The Druze man is beaten up.

Julani’s loyalists know who the Druze man is. They kept assaulting the Druze man until they said, “I’m Druze.” Then, the Druze man was executed.

There has been a famous clip of a braid of a Kurdish woman that the ISIS fighter held.

“She won’t live by now.”

Well, they’ve “only” learned not to leave the evidence “on their phone.”

They executed, and they’re selling Kurdish women as prostitutes for them.

In 1979, a regime was born. It’s the regime that pretended to voice peace using religion. Ever since 1979, women have been forced to wear hijab. Why are women forced to dress in a certain manner? At the same time, the regime has been committing murderous acts, obvious human rights violations, and acts against humanity.

Why do people have to be hanged in public? Why are these people forced not to voice their resistance against this tyranny by the Khamenei regime? Because of the Khamenei regime, the Iranian people are now facing enormous inflation, lack of food, and lack of water.

As a result, major protests broke out. However, what is the real nature of the protests? If you look at footage of the acts by the IRCG and the Armed Forces of Iran, they’re hitting people with a bar or a stick, shooting at people, raiding people at night, “murdering” 12,000 people in just three days. The Khamenei regime has admitted to the killings of unarmed civilians by using armed forces.

What do you think if a nation or your government orders the military to shoot at people? Where is the UN? Why isn’t the UN condemning this act against humanity? Where is the human rights branch of the UN? I believe that it’s not wrong to condemn the Khamenei regime.

I’ve discussed what happened during the 12-Day War with Dr. Ofir Haivry. I believe that the preemptive attack has resulted in weakening the regime, and I was expecting it as a result when Israel struck the Islamic Republic regime back in June last year.

However, after the collapse of the Khamenei regime, as I expect, what will the future of Iran and its people be? Now, at the same time, is a crucial moment for Iran’s future not to have another brutal government.

What is the role of Shaw Pahlavi? What is the expected role of Shaw Pahlavi? Shaw Pahlavi has been actively condemning Khamenei. I expect he’ll play a crucial role in the new government once Khamenei collapses. I hope for the moment that the Khamenei regime will collapse for the entire Middle East, not only for the Iranian people.

He told me various opinions on various topics. We talked about the issues of settlers, which is reported as if Israelis were some kind of “aliens.” Actually, Zionism is biased for many reasons, and it has a lot to do with Israel, which is called a “colony.” If these people who claim Israelis are colonialists are no different from the accomplices of the cold-blooded Khamenei regime.

Khamenei has murdered over 20,000 in just a week. How come this brutality is possible? Also, he pointed out an important fact about the 12-Day War. Ayatollah Khamenei has been pointing to Israel, calling the Zionist regime or the illegitimate colonialists, and more. In between, he also name-calls Prime Minister Netanyahu. If you listen to his speech about 1982, though, you’ll understand why he calls Israel the Zionist Regime, together with Prime Minister Netanyahu, who had the realistic idea of collapsing the cruel and brutal Khamenei regime. However, to be clear, when Khamenei calls out Zionists, it means “all Israelis.”

I’ve hated the Islamic Republic of Iran for a long time. For decades. And, so do many Iranians who’re currently oppressed by Khamenei. There is no freedom of speech, and not only that… There is no freedom of action, phone calls, texts, or anything. Anything will be watched and monitored, and you could face public hanging.

It doesn’t mean that you’re able to get away with the wars in the Middle East if you live far away. Many Japanese intellectuals believe that Al Jazeera is a media of justice, which is, in fact, appalling.

You need to know and learn about Israel, which is a part of Christian culture. The real history of Israel and its people, even though you prefer not to talk about the religion. The victims in Israel on October 7th were young Israelis.

To me, 2026 is a year of hope and change. I plan to expand my newsletter beyond my exclusive articles to a space for free speech, where I can cover various affairs and invite guests to write articles or join Q&A sessions.

By the way, Israel recognized Somaliland on December 26th, 2025. Did you know about Somaliland? I asked Dr. Ofir Haivry to talk about Somaliland to the Japanese public, who had never heard of it. The recognition of Somaliland is a historic moment. What do you think it means to the neighboring region, or geopolitically, not only for Israel?

Also, to many Japanese, it may be confusing why the Bondi Beach massacre is Antisemitism. Some news media had a very misleading description as if the Bondi Beach massacre was the result of the ongoing operation in Gaza by the IDF.

This, in fact, is a preaching, not a fact. Australia has very strict gun laws, just like Japan. Then, why did such a tragedy happen? It’s long overdue for the Japanese public to stop listening to Hamas narrative of Zionism and also Antisemitism. Israel bias.

If you watch the scene, you’ll surely get very nervous. Very much indeed. He falls off the platform. For real. Of course, one of the curious parts was, “Did you actually fall off the platform?” The scene sounded very intense.

Aaron’s career may be somewhat different from actors or actresses in general. However, what he told me during our recording made me think a lot. To be honest, he played some roles that I’ve been aware of. The nonfiction stories or stories that exist in real.

Maybe because I was more focused on speech, it’s very different from acting. However, expression that is convincing or relatable to people’s imagination require a lot of effort of understandings from different perspective other than “just saying.” Performing arts, including speeches or recitation of a novel, requires expression in a way people are able to imagine in their own way while listening. However, acting is a lot of work.

This is the second time I've invited Sagi on my podcast. Sagi is a successful entrepreneur, and he has relatives who were involved in politics from various political backgrounds. Truly, I was shocked for days after the Bondi Beach massacre. It is indeed a massacre that targeted the Jewish population in Australia. In my opinion, it’s just too ridiculous what the terrorists’ missions are. And at the same time, they must realize that it’s impossible for them to conquer Japan.

I’m not spewing hatred, targeting a certain amount of the population. However, I’m very pleased and satisfied so far with the immigration policy of Prime Minister Takaichi. It requires a step to take, but I believe that it’s shifting in the right direction. “Japan needs to stay Japan,” as the late Charlie Kirk said.

He’s very right about what Japan is about and how Japan should be. I think I must respect others’ culture, but if they come to Japan, they must honor the nation of Japan, and respect the Japanese manner and customs. Charlie shared a very simple opinion and impression about Japan, and I appreciate him for doing that as an American.

Today’s topic is about the Bondi Beach massacre in Australia. Bondi Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Australia. I wanted to ask him his thoughts on what he thinks of the massacre and the ongoing everlasting hatred spewed by the protestors, such as “From the river to the sea,” “Glorify Intifada,” “Gas the Jews,” and … it lasts more.

I have talked with Sagi over the difference in opinion, but when it comes to Zionism, it’s about Israel. The people who create propaganda to make the crowds chant “anti-Zionism words,” including the Islamic Republic of Iran, know what they’re talking about. The official of Iran even said that they couldn’t convert Japan into an Islamic nation.

Is Antisemitism and the expression “Gas the Jews” the same? Yes, it’s disgusting, and it’s the same. I think Japan deserves to be proud of protecting the Jewish population during WWII, even though I condemn the terrorists’ heinous activities of the Japanese terrorists, such as the Japanese Red Army.

Anti-Zionism is a deep-rooted hate against Israel, which primarily consists of the Jewish population. I’ve invited non-Jewish people on my podcast, and they’re very thankful for the state of Israel. They’re also targeted if they support Israel.

Lastly, it’s wrong to label the terror attack as the “result” or “consequence” of the military operation in Gaza. That is the real reasoning, and I believe that these everlasting struggles and murders in the Middle East will never stop unless the surrounding nations accept and let Israel thrive as Israel. I had an opportunity to invite Rabbi Menachem Levine before Hanukkah, as mentioned in the message. I had technical issues, and I couldn’t record a little description before our conversation. The conversation was recorded on the 11th by the Rabbi’s local time. I woke up at 4:30 am that day. I had a wonderful conversation with Rabbi Levine, and it made my day.

Rabbi Levine Menachem is the CEO of JDBY-YTT, the largest Jewish school in the Midwest. He served as Rabbi of Congregation Am Echad in San Jose, CA, from 2007 to 2020. You could listen to his family’s story in my first episode with Rabbi Levine.

As I always feel, Jewish people have the courage and strength to overcome the challenging times, and never lose hope, dream, joy, love, and future. Hanukkah is a memory for the Jewish people. Jewish people remember their memory, but they always look at the future.

It was very fortunate, and I have a lot of gratitude for Rabbi Menachem Levine for coming to my podcast. I also requested him to talk about this year’s Hanukkah for the Jewish people. Israel.

During our conversation, he described to me who the Jewish people in the Soviet system were. Who calls Jewish people and Israel are different. Actually, I found another important misunderstanding by the researchers who cooperate in the creation of documentaries and broadcasts of the documentaries by the Jewish people in history.

Rabbi Levine is a very kind, positive, and strong person. And, he told me about the Jewish people’s light in their hearts whenever they face difficulties. Ultimately, I watch the propaganda, but to me, propaganda is not Jewish people. I’d like to avoid talking about something negative during this holiday season. After Hanukkah, Christmas always comes. As a Zionist, I believe that we, Christians and the Jewish, must always be friends.

Lastly, I have to admit how coincidental our lives can be. I’ve met so many people who’re somehow related to Chiune Sugihara, not only through stories. And, the guests’ parents or grandparents who were in Japan during the war.

We, the Japanese, should always remember the fact that we, the Japanese, protected the Jewish population.

Who is invading all the neighboring nations bordering China?

Does Japan bow to North Korea while Japan has the real victims of the kidnapped hostages NOW?

If they all claim this, China must return all the Japanese they charged with espionage cases.

In response to China’s aggressive attitude toward the Japanese administration, it is nothing but a form of agitation. Hannah also discussed the phrase China loves to use, “The history of war crimes that Japan must regret what they had done in China.” It was very interesting, indeed, what he remarked. Who is worse, the person who is threatening Japan by sending in wolves like the Consul of China in Osaka?

I asked for opinions about the possible Israel-Japan relationship and his perspective. This part was the most interesting part. As they agree, the United Nations has failed from the beginning. The United Nations is the very organization that failed to condemn Hamas for its atrocities on October 7th. What can Japan expect from any form of emergency? Also, why isn’t Taiwan even included?

Lastly, I’ll write here about the hostages. Israel had hostages living or deceased in Gaza when the incident happened on October 7th. Hannah Klein was wearing the hostage pin. Dr. Haivry started to say that there must be more proactive actions to strongly advocate for the hostages kidnapped to North Korea. In Israel, everyone remembered every single name of the hostages and advocated for them. Japan needs that strong civil action.
